The scans are informational

Our free Salon Report Card and any reports we produce for you are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not legal, financial, marketing, or business advice. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on the output.

AI output is a snapshot in time

SalonWins queries third-party AI models. Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), and Perplexity , at the moment you run a scan. These models change constantly: their training data, retrieval sources, ranking logic, and safety filters are updated without notice. A scan run today may produce different results from a scan run an hour from now, even for the same salon.

We do not control these models, their providers, or what they say about your business. We surface what they say at the time of the scan and do our best to interpret it.

No guarantees on rankings or outcomes

Whether you use our reports yourself or engage us for paid services, we cannot guarantee:

• That AI assistants will mention you, rank you, or describe you a particular way after any changes are made.
• That Google, Bing, or any other search engine will rank you higher.
• That your bookings, revenue, or reputation will improve by a specific amount or within a specific timeframe.
• That any specific review will be removed or any specific citation will be added.

Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control: AI model changes, competitor activity, market conditions, your own operations, third-party platforms, and the quality of information about your business already in the wild.

AI can be wrong

AI models hallucinate. They invent facts, misattribute reviews, confuse similarly-named businesses, and produce confident-sounding statements that are simply incorrect. We flag what looks questionable, but we cannot catch every error. Verify any specific claim before acting on it, especially anything about a competitor, a person, or a regulator.

Third-party data

The reviews and competitor data in your report come from third-party providers (DataForSEO, the Google Maps Places API). We pass through what those providers return; we do not edit or curate it. Reviews, photos, and metadata are the property of their respective owners and platforms.

Nothing in a SalonWins scan, report, email, or conversation constitutes legal advice, defamation analysis, financial advice, or any other regulated professional service. If a scan surfaces something that may be defamatory, illegal, or regulated, consult a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalonWins and Arcate Labs LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any scan output. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, if any.
