Your look and voice, captured once. Applied everywhere.

Your palette, your type, your voice: extracted from your existing site at onboarding. They drive every page your clients read. And they’re what Claire reads every time it writes something for you. Not a questionnaire. Not a theme. Yours.

“Reads like your salon wrote it.”

What it is

Four things that determine whether a page reads like your salon or like a template.

Brand DNA captures all four and stores them as a structured record, visible in your Studio and readable by every feature. It’s what connects your site design to Claire’s writing. Change it once and it flows everywhere.

Your specific colors. Pulled from your site, not a dropdown.
Not Wix’s teal. Not Squarespace grey. The colors already on your current site and photos, extracted and stored.
Voice. What Claire writes from.
Tone, cadence, word choice: extracted from your existing copy and stored as your brandVoice record. Claire reads it every time it writes anything for you.
Aa / Typography
Display and body faces matched to your brand’s character, fast-loading and self-hosted, not pulled from a generic font menu.
Imagery style
Warm and intimate or clean and editorial. The direction is read from your existing photos. The site you see in your first review already has the right feel.
4signals, one coherent record
Set once, read everywhere. Your site design and everything Claire writes.
Two salons on the same plan get completely different Brand DNA records. That’s the point. It starts from what’s already yours.

How it’s captured

No questionnaire. We read what’s already on your site.

Most platforms hand you a color picker and a font dropdown and call it brand setup. We read your existing site, your Google Business Profile, and your review language, and extract what’s already yours. That record drives the whole site design and it’s what Claire reads when it writes anything for you.

01
We crawl your existing site

During onboarding, our archiver reads your current website: pages, stylesheets, images. That raw material is the source. You don't fill out a form.

Runs automatically. You don't click anything.
02
We pull your palette and type

Colors, fonts, and imagery direction are extracted from what’s actually there, not from a color picker. If your current site is off-brand, we note it and pick intentionally instead of copying it.

Your swatch strip in Studio reflects your real site, not a theme default.
03
We read your Google Business Profile and reviews

Your GBP photos, your salon description, and the language your clients use in reviews are additional signal. The words they use to describe you often capture your voice better than your own copy does.

Client language feeds your brandVoice record directly.
04
Your Brand Brief is written to Studio. Claire reads it from here.

Everything extracted becomes a structured Brand Brief: palette, type, imagery direction, and a brandVoice record. Claire reads it every time it writes a service page, a review reply, a post. This is what “Train Claire to match your voice” means in practice.

Populated before we show you the first design draft.

Your Brand Brief is populated before we show you the first design draft. The site you review already looks like you, not a placeholder. You’re not designing from zero; you’re reviewing something that already starts from your brand. And Claire has already read that brief before it writes a single word.

Where it shows up

Your site design, your Claire writing. Both run from the same record.

Brand DNA isn’t a styling step. It’s a live record that the whole platform reads. New page, new Claire draft, new SEO piece: all of it comes from the same source. That’s why the site feels like one salon, not a collection of disconnected parts.

01 / Your whole site

Every page looks like the same salon.

Services, team, gallery, homepage, posts: all built from the same Brand DNA record. Nothing reads off-brand because every page pulls from the same source. You can change a color in your Brand DNA panel and it flows through everything.

02 / Everything Claire writes

Claire writes from your Brand DNA. Not a generic salon template.

When Claire drafts a service page, a review reply, a post, or a bio, it opens your brandVoice record first. That’s what “Train Claire to match your voice” means: not a style toggle, but a real record of how you write, extracted from your own copy. The output reads like you because it starts from you.

03 / Review replies

Every reply drafted in your tone before you’ve read it.

Claire drafts a reply to each new review, grounded in your brandVoice record and the specific language of what that client wrote. You don’t see “Thanks so much for your feedback!” You see a reply that sounds like you wrote it. Approve it. Post it.

How Claire handles reviews
04 / Every new feature, automatically

Set it once. Every future feature reads it.

Brand DNA is a live record, not a one-time setup step. Every feature we ship reads it: the dashboard, the SEO content our team produces, the ranking reports. Add a stylist, launch a service, get a new review. Brand DNA is already there when they arrive.

Before & after

With Brand DNA vs. without it.

This is what Brand DNA changes on content your clients actually read, not just the palette. Every row below is something the platform produces. The difference is whether it knows who you are before it starts.

WITHOUT BRAND DNA
WITH BRAND DNA
Service page
Generic keyword-stuffed paragraph. Reads like every other salon.
Written in your voice, in your tone, with your specific vocabulary.
Review reply
"Thanks so much! We appreciate your feedback." (copy-pasted).
Drafted by Claire, in your voice, personalised to what they actually said.
Site palette
Default Wix blue or Squarespace grey. Whatever the template came with.
Your specific brand colors, extracted from your existing presence.
New blog post
Outsourced to a writer who's never been in your salon.
Claire drafts it in your voice. You approve in two minutes.
Page headline
"Professional Balayage Services in [City]"
"Hand-painted color, done quietly well." Reads like you wrote it.

Questions

What salon owners ask about Brand DNA.

What if my current site looks nothing like what I want?+

Tell us that in the onboarding form. If your current site is a mess you want to leave behind, we extract signal from your GBP and any photos you send us instead. The goal is your brand, not your current site.

Can I edit my Brand DNA after it's captured?+

Yes. Your Brand Brief lives in Studio under Brand DNA, and you can update colors, type notes, and voice guidance at any time. Changes flow through to future Claire content automatically.

How is this different from just picking a template?+

A template gives every salon the same starting point. Brand DNA starts from your existing presence and extracts what's already yours. Two salons with completely different looks will get completely different Brand DNA records, even if they're on the same plan.

Does Brand DNA work without Claire?+

Yes. Even on the Site plan (without Claire), Brand DNA governs your palette, typography, and site design. You get a site that looks like you, not a theme. The Claire connection (voice-driven writing) activates on the Site + SEO + Claire plan.

Does it cost extra?+

No. Brand DNA ships on every plan. It's the foundation the whole site is built on.

How long does extraction take?+

The archive crawl runs during onboarding, typically in minutes. Your Brand Brief is populated before we build your first draft, so the site you review already reflects your brand, not a placeholder.
